As part of Marie Claire' Inspire and Mentor campaign, they hosted an event whereby the editors gave a lecture about what their jobs entail and how they got there. OMGADDDDD!! I have had SUCH a hoo harr with my blog. As un-interesting as it is: I lost my internet connection for a few weeks, I then forgot my password and have had trouble trying to get a new one but.. guess who's back back back? back again? 'gain 'gain? Char is back back back tell a frienddddddddd. haha gotta whack out a bit of Eminem now and then :) anyway.. I shall get back to blogging from now forth wahooo

Sick of winter? style.com have released their trend reports for spring 2011, yay! as much as I love wrapping up warm in big chunky knits and tea cosy hats, nothing beats being able to wear a dress-tightless or a top and shorts-fleeceless.
Style have categorised spring into 7 sections: Hyper colour, Lace Embrace, Midi is the message, Prints revolution, Seeing the light, The Yves standard and We wear the pants.
My favourite is Lace Embrace...

Valentines Shmalentines

 I hate to be a synic but.. valentines is a load of shnoodles in my eyes! surely if you are in fact so deeply in love with somebody you don't need a day in the calendar to prove that to them? it should be a daily occurance? However nice valentines day is for people in love, it is still just a money making system for all kinds of retail? On the contrary I do realise that if I was in love, i might feel differently about it.. hmmm. a tricky one.

L is for Last Nights Party

Last night was my dear friends party and I bought a lovely silk shirt for the occassion.. well I persuaded mother bear to :o) muhaha.. and after such hard graft working my persuasion techniques and smooth moves like a slick rick, somebody spilt alcohol on it and it is now stained :( even though that somebody could potentially be me (culprit not known as i was rather heavily under the influence) it's really bummed me out. does anybody know how to remove stains from silk shirts? you would be my hero if so!
